The Washington State Chapter of Community Associations Institute (WSCAI) serves the educational, business, and networking needs of community associations (homeowners associations [HOAs], condominiums, co-ops and Planned Unit Developments [PUDs]) for the entire state of Washington. WSCAI’s members include nearly 800 businesses and professional community association managers, and over 1,000 board members and homeowners representing tens of thousands of households. WSCAI is the second largest chapter of 63 nationally and internationally.
WSCAI serves community association board members, homeowners and managers by:
• Advancing excellence through seminars, workshops, conferences and educational programs, most of which lead to professional designations for community managers and other industry professionals.
• Publishing a magazine (9 issues per year), a bi-monthly e-newsletter and effective website.
• Advocating on behalf of common-interest communities and industry professionals in Olympia, WA.
WSCAI believes homeowner and condominium associations should strive to exceed the expectations of their residents. We work toward this goal by identifying and meeting the evolving needs of the professionals and volunteers who serve associations, by being a trusted forum for the collaborative exchange of knowledge and information, and by helping our members learn, achieve and excel. Our mission is to anticipate and meet member needs, foster inclusive participation, deliver essential educational programs, reach out to the greater community, and shape public policy.
Each year, WSCAI offers over 25 educational opportunities from one-hour monthly manager-specific education to full-day events for all members. Sponsorship opportunities are available to member businesses that provide services to the community association industry. Larger events offer exhibit space.
